That is why we participate with many insurance plans, offer self-pay services, and offer payment plan options. How to pay your bill

Choose what option is best for you:

Pay Online- Create an account or find your unique 'online bill pay code' on the top of your statement to make an online payment. You can also set up text-to-pay through your online account!

Pay by phoneCall Patient Accounts at (563) 589-4030 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to pay with a credit card.

Pay by Mail- Send your payment to Grand River Medical Group, Patient Accounts, 1515 Delhi Street, Suite 100, Dubuque, IA 52001.

In-Person- Stop by any clinic location to pay your bill at a provider check-in window.

Payment Method

At Grand River Medical Group we accept payment for services by cash, personal check, cashier's check, money order, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Do not send cash in the mail.

E-Statements

You will receive electronic statements from us by text (844)890-2597 and email (billing@gr-mg.com) before you receive a paper statement in the mail. The text/email will include a link to view your statement and pay your bill through our secure payment portal. *If you receive a text or email from a contact that is not one of the above regarding payment please mark it as spam and delete the message. Communications will come on the 1st Tuesday/Wednesday of the month.

  • How to log into the secure online portal:
    Click the link in the email, verify your first name, and enter your last name, date of birth*, and house number.
    *Last name and date of birth should be of the guarantor whose first name has populated in the first field.
  • If you have a PO Box only enter the numbers, the field does not accept letters or characters.

Financial Assistance

If you cannot fully pay your balance, call Patient Financial Services (563) 589-4048, to discuss payment plan options.

Insurance Payment Information

Before scheduling your appointment you should contact your insurance company to verify we are in-network. Call the member services number on the back of your card or visit their website. Insurance benefits vary by plan and carrier. We participate with most local and national insurance plans.

We will submit your health insurance claim to primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance directly. Any remaining balances after we have received payment from your insurance company may be your responsibility. Avoid surprise bills, by calling call your insurance company before your appointment to verify your visit will be covered.

Self-Pay Information

Don't have insurance? We offer self-pay services. Sometimes you are not eligible for insurance through your employer or are between jobs and do not have any insurance but still need to be seen. This is why we offer self-pay services at our clinic.

At the time of your appointment, you are required to pay $100 upfront. This payment will be applied to your total charges for your visit. After your visit, we will send you a final itemized bill for your services.
